Welcome to the SA Heron Sailing Association website.  The Heron has been sailed in South Australia since the early 1960s.  It is one of Australia’s most enduring National dinghy classes, popular in all states.  The Heron is sailed at Somerton Yacht Club, Largs Bay Sailing Club, Wallaroo Sailing Club, Port Lincoln Yacht Club and Coffin Bay Sailing Club.

A State championship regatta is sailed each year.
